Dr Cara Wall-Scheffler

Student Research

I currently supervise a series of interrelated, student-run research projects, including multiple projects on locomotion during pregnancy and while baby carrying and multiple projects on the ramifications of sexual dimorphism for the physiology and biomechanics of locomotion. Additionally I am interested in evolutionary mechanisms acting on body size and shape more generally and have an ongoing project investigating the shift to small body size in island populations.
